The bedrock of the Davidson family, Doris has stood beside her siblings through good times and hard ones. She embodies Abusua: loyalty, generosity and family first.

From becoming Ghana’s first female naval radio officer to serving her community, church, colleagues and the children she fostered in Merton, generosity has always been her superpower.

Elder Doris is a prayer warrior, a joyful giver and a faithful servant. Her strength, warmth and light are grounded in a life lived with God.

Doris makes friends easily and friends well. Across school days, maritime days, London days and every chapter since, she has loved her friends fiercely and kept them close.
